ABOUT K. WISOCKY

K. Wisocky is a non-union actress based in Los Angeles, CA. The moment she finished reading her first “big” book, The Hobbit, her step dad introduced her and her sister to their first campaign of Dungeons and Dragons. (She was a barbaric dwarf with rainbow hair -Cool, I know). They built a whole world and created characters with in depth backstories. As she took on the persona and fought through the world she created, she knew that that is what she had to do for the rest of her life.

Wisocky is currently taking classes at Zak Barnett Studios. In her Advance On Camera Acting class they dive deep into character and script analysis. On shoot days they replicate a film set. This has broadened her knowledge about every intricate detail it takes to pull together a project. She’s learned everything from specific coverages to how important continuity is. It has also increased her stamina for long shoot days, especially with highly emotional scenes.

She’d like to thank her classmates because they are the best and give a big thank you to her teacher, Michael Connors, because he is also awesome

Wisocky proudly joined the cast of “My Little Hobby” as Abigail!

My Little Hobby

“My Little Hobby” follows Abigail as she prepares for The Southwestern Open Class Hobby Horse Championship. This mockumentary encapsulates the mental and physical strength it takes to ride to victory… or lose it all.

More on My Little Hobby…

Being on set surrounded by wonderfully creative people was a dream come true and to top it all off… There was so many cool animals to hang out with!

A big thank you to Gina Cruz for letting us hang out with her and her horse, Chip!

Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.

While it wasn’t always easy and she faced a lot of challenges, Wisocky braved everyday with a smile. She stayed busy with theatre and was always on the hunt to learn something new. Since 6th grade she participated in ALL the shows in any way shape or form. Obviously she loved acting but she also found joy in costume design, props mastering, and publicity. She joined her communities Improv troupe and soon after became her high school’s improv representative. Throughout the years she learned all different forms of dance (Tap, Jazz, Swing) and was even lucky enough to dabble in aerial silks. She also participated in choir and got the chance to perform in Disney’s Candlelight processional 3 years in a row. As if she couldn’t get any more busy, Wisocky joined The renaissance fair and performed in The Human Combat Chess Match! Her proudest and favorite moments were at the Florida State Thespian Competition, where she won for her monologues and duet acting scene (Brag) , but really she just looked forward to it every year because of the fun memories and experiences she had with her friends.

She is extremely grateful for the community of people she had growing up, and if they’re reading this just know she couldn’t of gotten through it all without you. From letting her sleep on your couch to making sure she could participate to making sure she knew she was loved and cared for. She is eternally grateful and she wouldn’t be where she is now without you. Thank you.
